Pianist Timothy Shafer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Oberlin College Conservatory, and his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Piano from Indiana University at Bloomington. He is currently Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at Penn State. An active recitalist and orchestral soloist, he made his Carnegie Hall Debut in June of 1997.
